One day in my job

I work in the Special Jurisdiction for Peace, in the office of Magistrate Xiomara Balanta. I support the opening of a case that will study crimes against humanity committed against ethnic peoples in Buenaventura, Dagua, López de Micay, Timbiquí and Guapi. 

I work from home most of the time. Sometimes I have virtual meetings. Other times I write documents. Some are technical, some are administrative and some are of a judicial nature. I use Excel a lot. 

My coworkers are in Bogotá. I rarely have the opportunity to see them. For example, in this photo we were at an event in Buenaventura.

Occasionally I have to participate in community events. In this photo I am at a forum in Puerto Tejada, Cauca.

However, most of the time I am alone in front of my computer. Sometimes I have to make maps. I really like making them and analyzing them. 

I really like my work. I feel that I can contribute to the well-being of the victims of the armed conflict in Colombia.
